Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Coatings Technician to join our Specialty Additives business unit at our Wilmington DE research center.

This temporary position will report to the North America Innovation Lead.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:


* Responsible to provide technical support for key innovation projects and customer services


* Ensure lab safety and follow general safety procedures


* Conduct hands on work in lab to provide reliable results


* Work with scientists and other technicians to plan and execute technical lab work

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:


* B.S.

degree in polymer science or chemistry


* Previous experience in a lab set up and coating industry is highly desired
