Where would you step in?
As a valuable member of our inclusive Industrial Wastewater team, you will support our clients in the northeast by sitting in any of our Massachusetts, Connecticut, or Rhode Island offices.
We offer a hybrid remote work environment and flexible Fridays in the summer.
Our Wastewater Industrial Team and Projects
We offer top-tier environmental engineering services for industrial and institutional clients.
In addition, we assist state and local governments, utilities, and private clients, specializing in wastewater treatment technologies.
Our team excels in wastewater treatment design, regulatory permitting, and comprehensive support, collaborating closely with clients to minimize pollutants at the source.
Our solutions are designed to meet current facility needs while anticipating future growth.
Our services also include water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, asset management, capital improvement planning, and industrial process review for potential waste minimization opportunities.
What will you be doing?
As a Project Engineer, you will assist a team of experts with developing plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, and bid packages, and participate in project discussions on technical approaches, cost, and scheduling for design-bid-build and design-build projects.
You will assist industrial clients in developing the basis of design, treatability testing protocols, controls narrative, sequence of operation, and equipment and instrumentation specifications, including the conceptual and final design plan development (equipment layouts, process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and installation details).
Project Engineer responsibilities will also include treatability and pilot testing protocol development, process review, wastewater characterization, periodic construction observation, and system commissioning and start-up.
To succeed, you should be comfortable taking on and delegating various tasks, appropriately prioritizing them for yourself and other Staff Engineers, and have familiarity with wastewater equipment and instrumentation.
What does a Project Engineer need?
Over five years of consulting engineering experience and increasing responsibility in the industrial wastewater industry.
A BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Chemical, or a related field.
Project Engineers will need either a PE license or the ability to obtain one in the next 6 months.
You will need exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong proficiency in using spreadsheets for data analysis, and experience with report generation.
