Mechanic Maintenance Tech 6am to 2pm M-F
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment in a high paced production stamping environment.
Responsibilities
* Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing maintenance on mechanical presses
press line related equipment
conveyor systems
overhead cranes
and various production machines; following diagrams
sketches
operations manuals
manufacturer's instructions
and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions
* Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with Safety procedures
rules
and regulations
* Perform preventative tasks associated on heavy industrial manufacturing equipment
* Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments
* Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists
cranes
and hand and power tools
* Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules
calipers
micrometers
and other measuring instruments
* Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment
* Proficient in rigging/lifting fundamentals required for large equipment replacements
* Maintains equipment
parts
and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment
parts
and supplies
* Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
* Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests
* Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions
irregularities
and continuing needs
* Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed
* Performs other duties as assigned
1 st shift 6am to 2pm - $27 to $32/hr but flexible.
