Human Resource Coordinator, Full-time

This position is an integral member of the HR team and supports the daily operations and administrative activities of the entire department.

The successful candidate will have a can-do, customer focused attitude, representing the HR department in a positive manner, and ensuring a stellar employee experience.

Responsibilities:


* Triage and handle employee inquiries (in-person, phone, and email) regarding HR programs and policies; escalate as appropriate to the correct HR Center of Excellence for handling


* Provide administrative support for the HR department including mail and correspondence, recordkeeping, greeting visitors, ID badge maintenance, and answering incoming telephone calls


* Support verification of employment, unemployment requests, and I-9 processing as  needed


* Maintain organized and up-to-date HR files


* May assist with project/work requests in support of recruitment, learning and development, benefits, employee health, reward and recognition, and other HR disciplines

Qualifications: 


* Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, HR, or related field; at least 2 years’ related work experience required


* Working knowledge and understanding of human resource principles, practices and laws


* High level of confidentiality required


* Excellent verbal and written communication skills


* Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills 


* Ability to build relationships and interact with employees at all levels of the organization


* Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail


* Proven time management skills with ability to meet deadlines


* Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment 


* Familiarity with HRIS platforms preferred


* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic Excel required 

Location: Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital located at 3599 University Blvd South, Jacksonville, FL 32216

Hours:  Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
