Packing Support - Day Shift

This position is responsible to support all areas of Production to produce a finished product which meets internal manufacturing customer specifications and all Quality, Food Safety, and Food Defense requirements.

Pay:

$17.58 / hour 

Responsibilities: 


* Workday shift from 7:00AM - 7:30PM


* Read and follow directions correctly, written and verbal, continuously.


* Stand and walk on a cement floor, continuously.


* Bend and lift, using proper lifting techniques, up to 50 lbs., occasionally.


* Climb and balance on an 18 to 20 ft.

* Twist at waist and reach at or below shoulder height, frequently.


* Ability to support production at line standards, continuously (i.e.: bag tucking, packing/stacking, component placing).


* Ability to operate packaging equipment at standard, occasionally.


* Ability to work in high and confined spaces, occasionally.


* Ability to complete product and packaging change overs on equipment, occasionally.


* Ability to fill and transfer bulk bags up to 50 lbs.

Education and/or Experience:


* High School diploma or equivalent preferred.


* Accurate reading, math, and organizational skills.


* Food processing and packaging machinery experience preferred.
