In this role, the qualified candidate will:

• Design, execute, analyze, and interpret complex in vivo and ex vivo experiments to characterize the differentiation of effector T cells during a tissue inflammatory response

• Collaborate with partners across functional groups, including Discovery Immunology and Translational Science and Medicine

• Present results and progress to project teams and management

• Contribute, as appropriate, to conference abstracts and posters as well as publications• Ph.D.

in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field

• Strong background in basic immunology as well as an understanding of the cytokines and signaling pathways that drive autoimmune disease

• Hands-on experience in multicolor flow cytometry (including panel design and optimization; sample prep, staining, and acquisition; and data analysis) to identify and characterize immune cells (required)

• Hands-on experience in basic in vivo techniques including handling, dosing, blood and tissue collection, and preparation of single cell suspensions from lymphoid and non-lymphoid tissues (required)

• Experience running preclinical models of autoimmunity and inflammation, particularly models of skin and gastrointestinal inflammation (strongly preferred)

• Familiarity with single cell RNA sequencing, spatial transcriptomics, and bioinformatics tools (strongly preferred)

• Strong writing and oral communication skills

IMPACTIMM

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $88,000 to $141,450.
