NEFEE Intern

This position will work with Native Economic and Financial Education Empowerment (NEFEE) (www.stlouisfed.org/nefee) to develop educational materials and support initiatives with tribal nations and Native communities across the country.

The intern will gain experience in developing personal finance content for Native youth, as well as professional writing, and evaluation of resources.

NEFEE, housed within the Research Division, supports the financial and economic well-being of tribal nations and Native communities across the United States by strengthening access to economic and personal finance education.

Required skills:


* Excellent written and verbal communication skills


* Detail-oriented


* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills


* Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel


* Experience working in Native communities

Preferred skills:


* Experience working on financial education initiatives


* Familiar with Adobe Acrobat

Duties:


* Work with staff to produce and update financial education content, including developing videos on personal finance concepts tailored for Native communities.


* Review online learning modules for ease of use and relevance to audience.


* Support NEFEE projects including assisting with planning and logistics for workshops and trainings.
