Senior Technician, Quality Lab
Essential duties and responsibilities to include but are not limited to:
* Responsible for all phases of physical, dimensional, and aesthetic evaluation and analysis of received goods produced
* Assures good quality according to the customer’s specifications
* Works closely with operations, Quality Assurance and Research & Development to verify accuracy in formula specifications
* Maintains records for all bulk approvals
* Maintains and organizes retain samples
* Disposition items depending upon criteria provided
* Prepare COAs for customers
* Arrange and send out customer samples for approval with associated paperwork
* Approve all Mast Global fragrances, maintain retains, COAs and associated paperwork
* Interact with management and customers to achieve high quality goods
* Interface with all other departments in routine technical matters
* Understand, exercise and enforce all cGMP and safety requirements and procedures
* Monitor, and evaluate all documented test results, and batch adjustments, recommending corrective action or change control as required.
* Ongoing review of set processes and procedures challenging the way Aware is conducting business.
Recommending and implementing improvements as identified.
* Assist in managing and investigating all OOS and customer complaints
* Assist with quality related audits
* Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
* Maintains a clean and orderly work environment, observing all Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s)
* Conduct any other tasks as assigned by upper management.
Requirements:
* High school Diploma or GED preferred.
* 5 years-experience in a fast-paced cGMP manufacturing environment and demonstrated consumer goods product knowledge in lieu of diploma.
* Basic Math skills including but not limited to: addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentages required.
* Some statistical knowledge is preferred.
* Must have proven ability to read, write and communicate in English.
* Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and communicating effectively via email and phone.
* Strong, Consistent, reliable attention to detail and ability to work independently.
* Flexibility to work OT when necessary – including weekends.
* Good Team building skills.
* Demonstrated leadership skills.
* Excellent attendance record.
