Job Description

As a Data Science Analyst Intern in our Data & Analytics organization, you will have the opportunity to combine your technical skills and understanding of the business context to collaboratively develop end-to-end solutions with commercial, real-world impact on our clients and customers.

You will work on projects that focus on machine learning, business intelligence, data engineering, and/or visualization, delivering excellence at the intersection of data science, research and business domain expertise.

Job responsibilities


* Create innovative solutions that make a difference for our customers, clients, and employees.


* Work on agile teams with peers and experienced data scientists

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills


* Pursuing a Bachelor's or 1-Year Master's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) or related major with analytically rigorous coursework with an expected graduation by August 2026


* Knowledge of and proficiency in a coding language and willingness to learn and apply Python or SQL during internship

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills


* Knowledge of machine learning / data science theory, techniques and tools and experience working with large disparate data sets


* Experience in mathematics and statistics modelling


* Awareness of big data technologies (Hive, Hadoop, Spark) and/or computer clusters


* Awareness of standard analytical tech stacks (Jupyter Notebooks, AWS, Spark, PyTorch, R, etc.)


* Strong communication skills and the ability to present findings in an understandable manner to a non-technical audience
