What You Will Do

• Supervises engineering activities to ensure on time delivery of comprehensive and accurate installation specifications, equipment and material requirements, and location record updates to customers and the installation organization.

Allocates, schedules, and tracks engineering resources required to fulfill departmental commitments.

• Analyzes project technical requirements and institutes specific guidelines for the immediate engineering activity.

• Monitors and maintains project efficiency with emphasis on accuracy and budgeted time.

Serves as the initial escalation contact for issue resolution within the defined area.

Assists engineering manager with overseeing training; and implementing engineering policies and procedures.

Provides evaluative input on individual work efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of engineering capital projects and requests by performing sophisticated assignments crafted to continue the development of professional knowledge and abilities requiring enhanced application of standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out engineering tasks.

• Possesses a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, material interactions and various equipment technologies at the site with a strong focus in one or more areas.

• Implement manufacturing equipment capital projects in the categories of safety, quality, compliance, capacity increase, new capabilities, process improvement, and cost improvement

• Leads or is a key contributor for local / site equipment and validation strategies.

Is a trusted voice for engineering solutions and technical advice to manufacturing and other departments as the need arises.

• Independently works across organizational boundaries to define the potential technical solutions, scope, and requirements to meet business needs.
