Industrialization Quality Engineer f/m/d

Location: Wiehl (near Cologne)

As an Industrialization Quality Engineer f/m/d you will be part of the development team for new offer introduction in agile environment.

With Inputs from DFSR practitioners (design for safety and reliability), you identify and manage industrial risks which could affect the quality of the developed offer along its supply chain by using the standard quality tools and techniques from APQP approach.

Your IMPACT


* Responsible for implementing industrialization quality fundamentals


* Support and train cross functions on methods and tools for achieving robustness, capability, and quality targets


* Manage component risk dashboard and lead component risk activities for upstream supply chains


* Lead PPAP approach with component manufacturers and conduct supplier audits


* Lead Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and assessment of product/process capability for internal processes, ensuring proper quality levels


* Transfer process quality data and requirements to manufacturing facilities


* Create Product/Process Control Plan, support pilot run/process qualification, and resolve quality issues throughout the project

Your profile


* Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering


* Some years' relevant experience in industrialization quality field, including APQP/industrialization quality or manufacturing quality


* Experience in process audit (ideally according to VDA 6.3), PFMEA, Control Plan definition and execution, and PPAP including Capability study, Gage R&R (Gage Repeatability und Reproducibility)


* Experience with assembly, sheet metal fabrication, stamping, and molding


* Basic knowledge in Metrology and ISO 8015 is a plus, Certified Green-Belt/Black Belt is a plus


* Experience working in Agile Product Development environment, intercultural skills, and change management abilities


* Proficiency in English
