Business Office Assistant

Job Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Office Assistant to join our team and help us continue to deliver outstanding service.

Job Description: As a Business Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility's business office.

You will be responsible for a range of administrative and clerical tasks that support both our residents and staff.

Your organizational skills and attention to detail will contribute to the efficient management of our office and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:


* Administrative Support: Perform general office duties including answering phones, greeting visitors, and managing correspondence.


* Financial Management: Assist with billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable processes.

Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.


* Record Keeping: Maintain and update resident records, including admission documents, medical records, and personal information, in compliance with privacy regulations.


* Insurance Coordination: Assist with insurance verification and billing, and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to insurance claims.


* Reporting: Prepare and maintain various reports related to financial transactions, resident statistics, and operational performance.


* Compliance: Ensure that all office procedures comply with state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies.


* Team Collaboration: Work closely with other administrative and healthcare staff to support overall facility operations and enhance the quality of resident care.

Qualifications:


* Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in business administration or related field preferred.


* Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within a healthcare or skilled nursing facility setting.

Will train the right candidate even if they do not have direct experience.


* Skills:
+ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
+ Familiarity with office equipment.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
