Position Summary:

Chentronics is in search of an enthusiastic engineering student who has an interest in real-world embedded system engineering design and implementation.

Working with a mentor, you will be a part of an engineering design team working in our ignition and flame detection product lines.

What You Will Do



* Assisting in the design and implementation of embedded systems:


* Selection and implementation of embedded target devices and support circuit componentry


* Embedded software development and implementation


* Selection and interfacing of peripherals


* Implementation of standard protocols


* Design and implementing product test equipment


* Working with a diverse group of engineers in all phases of product development and production support including concept, design, test, verify, document, and support


* Preparation of typical electronics documentation (code flowcharts, instructions, code commenting, etc.)

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)



* Enrolled in an accredited degree program in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or related discipline


* Sophomore year or greater completed


* Ambitious, self-starting, and motivated attitude; willingness to learn, ability to manage time

What Will Put You Ahead



* Programming experience in C, Python


* Experience choosing embedded platforms to meet


* Good written and verbal communication skill
