The Opportunity


* Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners


* ED/UCC experience preferred.


* New grads with strong emergency or paramedic/EMT experience will be considered.


* A 3-month training internship (including didactics) offered to candidates who have newly graduated and/or are new to emergency medicine.


* Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.


* Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, and PALS are required.


* Current CA state license is a plus.


* Full-time opportunities available.

Saint Agnes Medical Center - Fresno, California


* Part of Trinity Health, one of the largest multi-institutional Catholic health care delivery systems in the nation, Saint Agnes is a general medical and surgical hospital with Advanced Primary Stroke Center certification.


* Specialized services include advanced interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery, a breast imaging center, an area-wide hospice for adults and children, and more.


* An academic site, SAMC supports an ACGME accredited 3-year EM residency program hosting 24 residents.

Providers work alongside residents with residents currently seeing approximately 40% of ED patients.
