Warehouse Associate III

What will you do?


* GENERAL SUMMARY: Under general supervision will work within plant's Materials Processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
+ Working in one or more of the following areas: Kanban, Shipping, Receiving, Kitting, CDO, Surplus, Returns
+ Issue/expedite/accelerate and submit orders for fabricated and purchased parts to meet material requirements
+ Follow up on past due orders as needed to service customer needs
+ Maintain ability to organize work and respond to customer requests in a timely fashion
+ Ensure all products are received properly; products and quantities are verified then processed expeditiously
+ Attention to detail
+ Data entry and recordkeeping
+ Participate in general housekeeping (5S) duties within work area
+ Perform general preventative maintenance (PM) tasks on area equipment as needed
+ Cross-train and rotate through various stations within department as needed to provide additional support
+ Conduct on-the-job (OTJ) for newly hired and/or transferred employees
+ Report material and equipment problems to appropriate personnel
+ Participate in meetings to resolve production issues and interface with other shifts and support groups as needed
+ Other duties as assigned

* JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Abilities:
+ General knowledge of manufacturing environment (preferred, but not required)
+ Basic computer skills
+ Experience in material handling beneficial, but not required
+ Knowledge of AMAPS system beneficial, but not required
+ Must be self-sufficient (required)

Education:
+ High School Diploma or GED required

Experience:
+ Entry-level.
Physical Requirements:
+ Must be able to safely lift up to 22 lbs.

Repetitive lifting motions throughout shift.
