RN – CTL – Neurosciences IMC/ICU - Part Time

Work Schedule :

75% FTE, Day/Evening rotation with one in three weekend and holiday rotation.

Hours are based off the operational needs of the department.

We offer a competitive starting pay, relevant work experience will be considered, this position also includes a shift/weekend differential.

We are seeking a Care Team Leader (CTL) / Charge Nurse to:


* Motivate and lead nursing staff while working in collaboration with the interprofessional team.


* Mentor others to grow professionally and advance their knowledge and skills.


* Facilitate and participate in daily interprofessional rounds.


* Work with a variety of neuroscience patients with neurological disorders and post neurosurgical cases ranging from elective spine surgeries to brain tumors or brain injuries.

Education :

Preferred - Baccalaureate degree in nursing.

Work Experience :

Minimum - Two (2) years' experience in an inpatient unit.

At least two (2) years of combined work experience and leadership experience may be considered in lieu of two (2) years' experience in an inpatient unit.

Preferred - Three (3) years' experience in an acute care inpatient unit.

Relevant RN experience with department-specific patient population

Licenses and Certifications :

Minimum - Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact.

Current CPR/BLS certification.

ACLS obtained within six (6) months of hire.

Preferred - National certification in relevant specialty.
