Health Care Innovation Associate

The Health Care Innovation Team advances Morgan Health's mission of improving health care quality, affordability, and equity by driving innovation in the employer-sponsored insurance marketplace.

The Health Care Innovation Associate will contribute to the research, design, implementation, and sharing of innovative programs and best practices in employer-sponsored insurance.

The Associate will research and stay abreast of areas of innovation in employer-sponsored insurance and will contribute to the design and implementation of Morgan Health innovation initiatives.

The Associate will be responsible for turning insights and strategies into thought leadership pieces and practical resources and tools (e.g., case studies, primers) that can influence and spread innovation in the market.

Job responsibilities


* Research: Diligently research and stay abreast of areas of innovation in employer-sponsored insurance.

Core responsibilities include clearly summarizing research results for internal audiences and incorporation into presentations and written papers or social media content.


* Writing and communication: Associate will be responsible for ideating on content pieces for a public, employer/business, and start-up audience, and creating practical resources and tools (e.g., primers, checklists, guides) that can be shared externally to advance the Morgan Health mission and help organizations implement or adapt learnings from our innovation efforts.

Topic areas may include primary care, maternal health, care navigation, health care quality, and plan design, among others.


* Project management: Organize project information and work plans, establish meeting agendas, and support team members with project management efforts.

Projects may span work with JPMC Lines of Business and the Benefits Organization, Morgan Health portfolio companies, and external stakeholders.

Projects may range from innovative health care program or product implementation to stakeholder convenings and events.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills


* The Associate should have strong research skills and a good understanding of reliable resources and databases to consult in the field.


* The ability to review and draw conclusions from data analysis is required.


* The Associate should be an excellent written and verbal communicator and enjoy writing.

This includes the ability to write for both public and business audiences.

The Associate should be able to break down complex topics into easy to follow content that can serve as a practical resource for employers and business leaders.


* The Associate should be organized, have strong attention to detail, and be able to support project manage efforts for key initiatives.


* The Associate should be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders.
