Specialist, Dispatch - Multiple Shifts

1st Shift, Sunday - Wednesday, 5:30am - 2:30pm

1st Shift, Wednesday - Saturday, 5:30am - 2:30pm

We are looking for a highly skilled professional to dispatch drivers and contribute to providing exceptional customer service.

The hourly pay rate for this is $23.00 GXO, in good faith, believes this is the pay rate for this role at the time of this posting.

We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted rate and this rate is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California.

This rate may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for hourly shift differential pay.

What you'll do on a typical day:


* Ensure drivers are dispatched in a timely manner


* Preplan and make dispatch changes, assist with routing directions and clearly communicate special service requirements


* Identify pickup and delivery expectations, and record primary order dates and critical instructions


* Review available capacity within the shipping region and schedule pickup/delivery appointments


* Receive and enter orders via phone or email


* Handle carrier relationships to ensure available capacity for all incoming orders


* Work with drivers to troubleshoot app issues

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:


* 1 year of logistics or transportation experience


* Experience with Microsoft Office

It'd be great if you had:


* Associate degree


* 4 years of related experience


* Solid analytical, communication and time management skills
