ServiceNow Employee Experience Product Engineer

Description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for architectural design of ServiceNow Employee Experience digital workflows in alignment both internal Kenvue Corporate Real Estate, HR Operations and Enablement, and Corporate Tech & Data strategic goals and objectives as well as ServiceNow implementation best practices.

• Direct management of, including mentoring and guidance, to Developers in the scrum team (incl.

3rd parties) to deliver compliant code in a timely manner.

• Establishes metrics and measures for performance of Employee Experience capabilities, including levels of technical debt.

• Responsible for overall module health and performance including integrations, plug-ins, and customizations as measured by ServiceNow health checks.

• Create and execute development plans as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements balancing business requirements and technology lifecycle management.

• Advocates for technology and innovation; identify new and emerging technology to deliver business needs and proactively sharing with Product Owners

• Hands on experience to perform quick POC's to demonstrate new features to business owners and accelerate time from design to development.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business partners, vendors, and internal teams, especially across the Kenvue ServiceNow Platform

Qualifications Position Requirements:

• 5 years of relevant professional experience

• 3 years of hands-on experience with design, development, and deployment on the ServiceNow platform

• Certification in ServiceNow System Administration, Application Development and Scripting

• Demonstrated experience as a technical architect or administrator of a ServiceNow Employee Experience digital workflow.

• Demonstrated experience balancing business needs with customization controls and speed/scale.

• Experience with a modern programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Angular, HTML, CSS)

• Experience working in and/or leading Product, Agile, and Scrum teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively in both 1-1 and large group settings.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Competencies:

• Experience with WSD module is preferred.

• Experience with Database design principles (e.g., table size, inheritance, basic SQL, etc.)

• Experience with modern web integration protocols (e.g., REST, JSON, SOAP/XML, etc.)

• Experience with portable data structures (e.g., JSON, XML, etc.)

• Experience with code versioning control systems (e.g., Git, Stash, Subversion, CVS)

• Experience with Database performance (e.g., table indexing, search algorithms, etc.)

• Experience with ServiceNow's Automated Test Framework

• Experience with intelligent editors (e.g., VS Code, Code Mirror, Notepad , Sublime Text, Emacs)
