Human Resources - Employee Engagement and Rewards Specialist

The Employee Engagement and Rewards Specialist role is responsible for participating in the development of and for administering programs that deliver an exceptional culture and employee experience focused on creating awareness, accountability, and rewards.  The Employee Engagement and Rewards Specialist role shapes these outcomes by driving systems that provide for clear performance requirements, systems to tactically support feedback and evaluation mechanisms, supporting employee relations activities, and dynamic rewards systems leading to a high performing culture.  The Employee Engagement and Rewards Specialist works collaboratively across the HR team and program areas by empowering managers to lead their teams more impactfully. 

Responsibilities:


* Develops plans for self-directed projects and initiatives including forecasting resource requirements, project plans, and initiating corrective action


* Prepares and analyzes reports on progress and shares reports as required


* Maintains organizational culture documents, policies, and procedures in partnership with the organizational development team that drive employee engagement, compliance, and the BNI’s success


* Develop, audit, and update job descriptions to ensure roles are clearly defined, and that performance plans and compensation are built upon them as a foundation.


* Administer and evaluate BNI’s compensation and incentive plans with the goal to implement a balanced, consistent, competitive, and effective program.


* Collect, assemble and analyze data from surveys, meetings, and by conducting facilitated feedback sessions to develop reports, recommendations, and develop projects to address needs and enhance the culture.


* Administer the performance management program for BNI to create strong foundations for awareness of job requirements, clearly defined expectations, and reward mechanisms to incent high performance


* Collaborate with the Organizational Development team and managers in creating sustainable practices surrounding employee engagement, growth, impact, and measurement


* Collaborate with and advise human resource staff and managers on EEO, investigations, discipline, and performance improvement


* Coach managers and employees in understanding and implementing BNI policies related to performance, discipline, and related topics


* Prepare reports on investigations or audit findings and make recommendations for corrective or adverse action, including root cause analysis solutions


* Update expertise through professional development, participating in professional educational opportunities, reading industry-specific and management publications, and taking part in professional organizations

 

Qualifications:


* Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development or business or related field or equivalent work experience is required.  Master’s Degree is preferred.
