RN - Beaver Dam Specialty Clinic

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

No weekends, no holidays.

You will work initially on the 2 nd floor of Marshfield Medical Center - Beaver Dam located at 705 S University Ave in Beaver Dam, WI, then will transition to the clinic's new space on the 5 th floor once open.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:


* Work as part of a small team in a fast-paced, regional ambulatory setting bringing specialized care and convenient access to UW Health patients locally.


* Perform triage and inbasket messaging for patients of multi-specialties within the clinic to include cardiology, urology, rheumatology, allergy, vascular, and oncology.

Education:

Minimum - Graduate of school of nursing.

Preferred - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Work Experience:

Minimum - Six (6) months of RN experience.

Preferred - Relevant RN experience.

Licenses & Certifications:

Minimum - Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact; CPR/BLS Certification.

Preferred - Applicable clinical certification.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:


* Knowledge and experience documenting patient care in an electronic medical record.


* Excellent verbal ,written, and presentation skills


* Ability to make knowledgeable clinical assessments and judgments


* Ability to educate staff


* Ability to provide counseling and emotional support with compassion and respect for the individual


* Ability to provide support to the members of the care team (teamwork)


* Must possess initiative and ability to work independently


* Ability to maintain confidentiality of medical records

Physical Requirements:

Medium: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting/and or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
