What's the role?

The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) is responsible to define and drive the 3D X-ray microscope product portfolio strategy and the roadmap of solutions, modules and features to serve the multiple market sectors and the wide breath of applications of each.

The PMM understands the customer needs and voice, the competitive situation, product marketing fundamentals, and how best to weight the many factors-pro and con-in product decisions.

S/he uses these skills, along with her/his judgment, to successfully define, position, evangelize, support, improve, and grow the business of our products.

Finally, the PMM will have strong experience and skills in product life cycle management, and project management, to implement projects across the organization.

Here's what you'll do:

Driving product business success while understanding and mitigating program risks

Partnering closely with Sector Marketing and Human Centered Design groups to understand and evaluate opportunities of different market groups as well as prioritize requirements from customers to feed into the product development roadmap in evaluation of feasibility & business case

Defining and driving timely product development plans involving multiple functional groups, with an eye to positioning, branding, and pricing.

Evangelizing new products within the company.

Leading Beta testing programs to ensure our new offerings provide superior value to our customers

Supporting of Go to Market with creation of product-specific content for marketing and training material, conception, and implementation of product launches.

Owning the product life cycle execution while influencing involvement of diverse functional groups

Working with 3rd party vendors to develop relationships, define requirements, drive development programs, and productize new capabilities to enhance ZEISS solutions

Working strategically with Sales to address evolving needs and to support strategic business development opportunities

Do you qualify?

Strong technical background (Master's degree in technical field, minimum)

Experience with computed tomography and/or X-ray imaging and/or 3D visualization techniques in microscopy

Previous experience in PMM role
