Speech Therapist - Per Diem


*Shift: 8:00A - 4:30P

POSITION SUMMARY:


* Under the supervision of the VP of Professional Services, the Speech/Language Pathologist delivers Speech Therapy to the patient in both hospital and out-patient settings.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/License/Certification:


* Must have a Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology or equivalent from a college program satisfying the American Speech-Language-hearing Association's (ASHA's) academic requirements and practicum.


* Current License for practicing Speech/Language Pathology in the State of California is required.


* Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech/Language Pathology required.


* Must have and maintain current BLS Certification.

Experience/Skills:


* Experience in Acute Care Setting preferred.


* Experience in outpatient and in-patient setting required.


* Experience treating all patients including, geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and newborn required.
