Maintenance Manager

Your Job

Establish a system of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, and execute these on molding and assembly lines.

Coordinate the above with your team and the relevant relationships with internal and external suppliers.

This position is open for the second Molex Plant located in the municipality of Acatlán in Guadalajara, Jalisco.

What You Will Do



* Provide leadership and direction for the safety of all employees and visitors of the facilities.


* Lead, track, and improve performance in key location goals and objectives that create the greatest value.


* Encourage and develop employees to improve their individual and organizational performance and practice a principle-based business approach.


* Conduct annual performance reviews (at a minimum) for direct reports and ensure the application of the individual performance development cycle.


* Lead performance management processes, accountability, and corrective actions for the team.


* Maintenance planning and execution.


* Supplier relations, quotes, purchases, coordinate services.


* Control, administration, and development of your team.

Understanding and application of PBM (Principle-Based Management).


* Support the strategic fulfillment of operational goals of the plant.


* Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Sales, Scheduling, Warehouse, Shipping, etc.) to optimize production requirements.


* Work with processes (and people) to exceed customer expectations.


* Assist employees in improving and advancing to create an environment with the greatest possibility for success.

Who You Are (Basic Requirements)



* Engineering: Mechanical Electrical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics.


* Advanced conversational English.


* Solid experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.


* Experience in operations startup and transfers.


* Problem-solving techniques, negotiation skills.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Continuous improvement projects.

• Diploma in personnel administration, maintenance, etc.

• Lean Manufacturing.

• Knowledge or experience in molding processes, plastic injection.
