DC SUPERVISOR (Inbound/Returns)

The DC Supervisor (Inbound/Returns) is responsible for coordinating and managing all inbound activities, maintaining accurate and complete inventory, and driving performance and staffing of the DC.

Responsibilities


* Drives processes which may influence the direction of other areas


* Effectively delivers formal counseling/mentoring to direct reports


* Participates and engages onsite client relationship


* Drives quality of Client related projects and promotes overall success


* Supervise and execute improvement process in quality production


* Supervise and adjust staffing levels based on requirements


* Manage, coach, and mentor hourly staff


* Identifies operational issues and drives action for quick resolution


* Communicate expectations and goals daily to team in order to meet PFSweb's performance standards.

Qualifications


* Bachelor's degree Preferred


* 3-5 years in a Management/Leadership capacity within a Distribution Center environment, Required


* 1-2 years' experience in Returns, Preferred


* Workforce Planning experience, Required


* Ability to work a flexible schedule, Required


* Deliver resolution to issues and promote process improvement


* Ability to obtain government background clearance, in addition to our standard background process


* Must complete US Federal Fingerprint and obtain NCIC Clearance

Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands


* Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time


* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance


* Ability to push or pull carts of up to 100 pounds without assistance


* Ability to climb stairs without assistance


* Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and grasp products

Preferred Personal Characteristics


* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word


* Ability to interact and communicate with all levels both internally and externally
