The Muskogee facility uses integrated technology to manufacture tissue and paper towel products in a progressive production environment.

The Paper Machine Leader is responsible for overseeing the efficient and safe operation of the paper machines within a paper manufacturing facility.

This leadership role involves managing a team of engineers, performance leaders and technicians, ensuring smooth production, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing machine performance.

What You Will Do



* Embrace influential leadership to support the organization while advancing our Principle-Based Management (PBM) culture


* Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures, promoting a culture of safety within the paper machine department


* Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies related to waste management, water usage, and emissions


* Provide leadership to the salaried team.

Build teamwork and capabilities through training, mentoring, and performance management


* Monitor and manage the operation of the paper machine to achieve production targets and quality standards


* Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to address equipment issues, implement preventive maintenance plans, and minimize downtime


* Conduct regular inspections of the paper machine, identifying and resolving operational inefficiencies, and implementing process improvements


* Monitor and analyze process variables, such as speed, temperature, and pressure, to optimize machine performance and ensure product quality


* Collaborate with the quality control team to implement quality control measures, conduct quality checks, and address any non-conformances


* Manage the inventory of raw materials, chemicals, and supplies required for the paper machine operation


* Foster a culture of continuous improvement by actively seeking opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality


* Keep abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in paper machine operations


* Prepare operational reports, maintenance logs, and other documentation as required
