The Senior Measurement Engineer will be the lead Measurement and Material Balance resource for project management teams.

The Engineer will assist in measurement automation equipment design/cost/ implementation.  They will also support all aspects of a measurement project from design, construction, and commissioning.  Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



* Provide Measurement project support for Measurement Engineering, Capital Projects, Field Engineering and Well Ties 


* Generate any required drawings for a project so all devices are represented and all connections are documented 


* Preview and redline measurement-related drawing packages for Enterprise’s various Engineering groups 


* Ensure consistent Measurement Automation and Measurement Engineering standards are applied across all assets and communicate these standards to Project Management and Operations 


* Gather bids for the Measurement Engineering and Measurement Automation equipment and provide them to the project management team


* Attend necessary factory acceptance testing 


* Coordinate with the Communications and IT Groups to aid in the design requirements for SCADA network infrastructure 


* Work closely with the Measurement Automation and Measurement Engineering to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget 


* Maintain a drawing library of all Measurement projects 


* Test and evaluate suitability of new technology, devices, and equipment

 

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:


* A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.


* A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred


* Must be able to work in a small team environment and be able to communicate across multiple departments


* Manage multiple projects simultaneously


* Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, P&ID’s, etc.


* Communicate technical information effectively


* Basic literacy in common software packages including Visio, Outlook, Excel and OneNote is required


* Must be able to travel up to 25%
