Janitor

Duties and Responsibilities:


* Perform routine cleaning tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.


* Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with established procedures.


* Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing supplies and ensuring a high level of hygiene.


* Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.


* Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and reporting any damages or repairs required.


* Ensure all areas are secured after cleaning and report any unauthorized individuals or suspicious activities.


* Follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals appropriately.


* Assist in setting up and cleaning up after events or meetings.


* Collaborate with other team members to maintain a cohesive and well-organized work environment.


* Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.


* Any additional responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.

Education and Experience Requirements:

 


* High school diploma or equivalent.


* Proven experience as a janitor or in a similar role.


* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.


* Ability to handle basic maintenance tasks.


* Physical stamina and strength to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy objects.


* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.


* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


* Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed.


* Knowledge of safety protocols and willingness to adhere to them at all times.
