As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a skilled Shop and Service Technician to join our team.

This role offers the opportunity to interface with internal and external customers, handle incoming and outgoing products, perform assembly and repair tasks, and ensure warehouse organization and safety.

Role Overview: As a Shop and Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in our operations, performing a variety of tasks related to receiving, inspecting, shipping, and assembling industrial equipment.

Your responsibilities will include handling inventory, processing shipments, performing valve assembly and automation, and repairing pumps and other equipment.

Strong interpersonal skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:


* Receive and inspect incoming products for accuracy and quality.


* Process shipments and inventory transactions in the ERP system.


* Pick, package, and ship heavy industrial equipment.


* Operate forklifts to move and organize materials in the warehouse.


* Perform valve assembly and automation tasks.


* Complete mechanical and electrical assemblies using hand tools and electronic/pneumatic tooling.


* Prepare and assemble electric heat trace systems, including panel fabrication.


* Follow production guidelines and specifications to meet delivery expectations.


* Perform pump repairs and other field service work as needed.


* Maintain workplace organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.


* Communicate effectively with customers, sales teams, and management.


* Perform other duties as directed by the Operations Manager.

Qualifications:


* High school diploma or GED, or equivalent education/experience.


* Valid driver's license in state of residence.


* Proficiency in computer skills (Outlook, Excel, etc.).


* Strong verbal and written communication skills.


* Ability to follow technical instructions and understand basic electrical circuits.


* Good driving record and basic math and analytical skills.


* Experience using multimeters and basic hand tools for assembly.


* Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.


* Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:


* Experience in heavy industry or industrial site environment.
