What will you do

KENVUE develops and delivers medicines and consumer health products to >1B people everyday.

Chemical ingredients are the core technology in our products, critical to the value we aim for our consumers & patients.

KENVUE's Enterprise Chemicals Ingredients is a sophisticated global category of >3000 materials, across 30 different sub-categories, supplied by ~700 active suppliers, valued at >$1B.

The spend comes in three broad clusters, each with approximately a third (33%) of the total category spend-


* Base Chemicals


* Specialty Chemicals


* Regulated Chemicals

The Category Manager, Global Base Chemicals will

• Own (global scope) end-2-end strategy development and execution (from business needs to sustained value / spend performance) for assigned sub-categories of spend.

• Be accountable to drive spend performance from strategy-to-value capture; and own pipelines of initiatives and targets w.r.t performance in terms of value, reliability, compliance, complexity reduction & NPD support.

• Generate (continuously), own, and drive the execution of the Sub-category's pipeline of projects.

• Own Global Supplier Relationship Management (GSRM) for specific suppliers through the category team(s), and manage supply agreements & awards, supply performance globally / regionally as appropriate (incl.

issue resolution)

• Partner with SC and Procurement teams on execution, projects, delivery, and supplier management

Demonstrate appropriate expertise in supply / supplier / market / industry dynamics impacting cost, supply, supplier & spend performance of assigned sub-categories, taking a predictive approach to cost, reliability, complexity, risk, and innovation .

• The candidate must have a University Degree in a Major Discipline (ie.

Engineering, Business, Economics, Law,)

• Minimum 10-year experience in Supply Chain Procurement

• Chemicals sourcing experience min 3 years

• Strong business and finance acumen, deep understanding of managing for impact in complex matrix environment.
