Hospice of Marion County- Resource RN-Care Grace House -PT-Wknd Days

The RN is responsible for:


* Acts as a liaison between all levels of patient/family care, internal customers and the professional community and assists the primary care nurses as directed.


* Provides support to the clinical team by completing assessments, implementing and updating care plans, assisting with tasks such as, but not limited to: wound care, tracheostomy care, medication entry into the electronic medical record, and performing assigned audits and chart reviews as requested.


* Completes direct admit admissions to the inpatient unit based on availability.


* Rotates between all inpatient units per acuity and need.

The Requirements:


* Minimum Associates Degree in Nursing; Nursing Diploma, BSN, MSN preferred.


* Must be a current Registered Nurse with a license issued by the Florida Board of Nursing.


* Must have a minimum of (6) six months clinical nursing experience; (1) one or more years clinical nursing experience preferred.


* Current Basic life support (BLS) CPR Certification required.
