What You Will Do

Reporting to the Operations Manager, provide engineering support to the Operations Team by:


* Investigate quality issues on site, supporting the Quality Lead by leading RCAs, researching production issues, trend analysis etc.


* Trend analysis and monitoring of process and equipment to help identify emerging issues before they occur.


* Focus on development of the production processes to ensure Stable and Reliable Operations and drive business results improvements (yield & throughput)


* Support Request for Change and Management of Change processes


* Identifying and resolving performance constraints


* Leading small continuous improvement projects


* Providing initial research and understanding of larger problems to initiate larger capital projects with the Projects Team


* Offer continued support to the Project team during subsequent stages of large capital projects.


* Support IT & OT team in Early Warning Dashboard development as required.


* Support updates to procedures and site documentation.


* Contribute to the site's learning culture where ideas are welcomed, challenged & executed to drive continuous improvement


* Demonstrate & promote a commitment to safety & operational excellence

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering


* 3+ years in the chemical manufacturing industry providing technical input to production processes
