Summary
Watermark is currently seeking a motivated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team in Noblesville, IN.
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials and goods to designated locations in a timely and safe manner.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our customers.
Responsibilities
* Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to deliver materials and goods to customers throughout Indiana and western Ohio.
* Drive transfer routes to our other warehouses in Ashland, OH and Myersville, MD.
* Follow delivery routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries and customer satisfaction.
* Load and unload materials from the trucks, ensuring proper handling and secure transport.
* Verify the accuracy of deliveries by matching them with order details and obtaining customer signatures as needed.
* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving and making deliveries.
* Communicate effectively with customers and team members to address any delivery issues or special instructions.
* Help with loading and unloading the trucks at the warehouse(s).
Qualifications
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Previous experience as a delivery driver.
* Familiarity with local roads, routes, and neighborhoods throughout Indiana.
* Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying deliveries.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Ability to operate a forklift.
* Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
* Comfortable operating 26000# trucks - box truck, truck with trailer, truck with a 30' stake body.
