Senior Scientist, Analytical LCM

This position reports into Senior Director Analytical and is based at Greater Mumbai.

The Scientist, Analytical Lifecycle Management is a skilled professional responsible for method development, validation, and transfer, as well as stability studies for existing products.

They use advanced analytical instruments such as HPLC, UPLC, and GC to execute method validation, transfer, and stability for analytical methods.

They also write technical documents, troubleshoot chromatographic instruments, and perform wet chemistry testing.

The Scientist enters data into the LIMS system, calibrates instruments, and follows safety practices and regulatory requirements.

Their communication skills allow them to keep stakeholders informed of testing status and perform assigned analytical activities to support ongoing projects.

What You Will Do

The position is responsible for:

• Execute method validation, transfer and stability for analytical methods using HPLC, UPLC, GC, etc.

• Write technical documents including research reports, method validation/transfer and stability protocols and reports in compliance with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.

• Perform troubleshooting on analytical instruments, notably chromatographic instruments and perform instrumental and wet chemistry testing using HPLC, UPLC, GC, FT-IR, UV/VIS, dissolution apparatus, and wet chemistry as required.

• Enter data into LIMS system and calibrate instruments per current procedures as needed.

• Practice company safety practices at all times as well as comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local regulations.

• Communicate testing status and perform assigned analytical activities to support on-going projects.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

• 3-5 years of experience with BS or equivalent

• 0-2 years of experience with MS

• A focused degree in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry is preferred

• Have strong technical writing skills and strong communication skills.
