Occupancy Clerk / HUD Tax Credit Housing

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Clerk in Sacramento, CA, at Pioneer Towers, a 198-unit multilayer subsidy facility (Section 8, LIHTC, SHRA, Market) .

Typical Duties & Requirements:


* Assist in processing and maintaining confidential tenant files for HUD, Tax Credit, and Market Rate programs


* Assist in processing annual recertifications, interims, move-ins, and move-outs from start to finish adhering to strict timelines


* Schedule interviews with residents, collect required paperwork for certifications


* Assist in maintaining waitlists


* Assist in processing criminal background and credit reports for new applicants


* Assist with resolutions of findings on Management and Occupancy Reviews


* Maintain positive tenant relations and deliver outstanding service to a diverse population of seniors


* Excellent verbal, written, communication and organizational skills


* Previous experience and knowledge of occupancy procedures for HUD and LIHTC (Tax Credit) programs preferred but not required


* Occupancy Specialist and Tax Credit Specialist Certificates preferred but not required


* Recent experience with RealPage One Site preferred but not required

Minimum Qualifications (Experience preferred but not required):


* HUD/Tax-Credit housing


* Verbal & written communication


* Resident relations


* Experience with RealPage OneSite
