Housekeeper

Responsibilities:


* Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting resident rooms, common areas, hallways, and offices.


* Sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and floors, using appropriate cleaning agents.


* Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed.


* Clean and disinfect surfaces such as doorknobs, handrails, and light switches to prevent the spread of germs.


* Launder linens and towels according to facility procedures.


* Stock and maintain housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies.


* Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.


* Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to maintain a hygienic environment.


* Follow established protocols for handling and disposing of biohazardous waste.


* Assist with special cleaning projects and deep cleaning tasks as assigned.


* Respect residents' privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
