Cable Products Manager

Your Job

Lead the Molex Power and Signal cable assembly business for our Nogales, MX manufacturing location.

Develops and Manages the Product Development and Product Management team with the objective to exceed customer expectations.

Responsible for building and executing the cable growth strategy alongside plant operations, engineering, new product introduction, sourcing and supply chain.

This is part of the Power and Signal Business Unit and works closely with Molex sales and global engineering groups.

Cable Products works in close collaboration with the Power and Signal Business Unit, with Nogales Plant Functional Teams, Global Engineering and Sales

What you Will do


* Develop, build, and manage the Cable Product Development and Product Management team, part of the Power and Signal Business Unit (PSBU) in Nogales MX.


* Develop and implement a cable growth strategy in Molex Nogales that supports the business vision and customer requirements.


* Drive cross functional strategic engagement with the various plant stake holders such as plant operations, manufacturing engineering, new product introduction, sourcing, and supply chain.


* Position Molex as a best-in-class cable assembly manufacturer by virtue of operational excellence.


* Engage with PSBU front end business development team and Molex sales on new opportunity development to build a pipeline of new, profitable business.


* Evaluate target customers and markets for cable assembly that Molex can penetrate to increase business potential.


* Works closely with other Molex cable assembly plants to share and receive knowledge, build capability, and execute the business growth strategy.

Who you are


* 5 Years of experience in Operations Management with a Wire Harness Manufacturer


* Bachelor's Engineering

* Excellent self-management, planning and organizational skills that will allow achievement of near term and long-term goals


* Computer experience including Microsoft Outlook & Excel


* Demonstrated written and verbal skills for clear and concise communication in a professional environment


* Advanced / Native English


* +3 Years of Experience managing teams


* Entrepreneurial Attitude, Negotiation Skills, and Customer Focus


* Experience in SAP / ECTR
