Engineer / Sr. Engineer, Quality ( AQP )

Your Job

i) To review and ensure the New product development process is carried out inline with documented procedures.

ii) To plan & coordinate for PPAP submission during New product Development process

iii) To understand and facilitate implementation of customer specific requirements in the organization.

iv) To monitor and review the NPD process performance and work with the CFT in addressing the concerns / improvements.

v) Training and Development of subordinates in measurement and QMS.

vi) To monitor and review the current process performance and work with the manufacturing team in addressing the concerns / improvements

What You Will Do

1.

Active participation in New Product Development process

2.

Interaction between Customer, Engineering & Operations to understand the Quality requirements & plan actions internally

3.

Facilitate with internal CFT members in developing documentation inline with APQP requirements (Preparation of PPAP Documents viz.

Control plan, MSA, Q checksheet, Capability study.....)

4.

Work with concerned Design & Process Engineer in preparation of Product & process qualification plan for all the new product & process development

5.

Planning for New Product Qualification (FAR, Capability study, MSA, etc.).

6.

Review customer requirements & give inputs to Engineering to incorporate the same under Molex drawing/ Product Spec.

7.

Coordinate for development of DFMEA & PFMEA activities

8.

Planning for measurement system & also designing the gauges.

9.

Ensure sample development process is carried out in compliance with the documented QMS & EMS requirements.

10.

Ensure QA support is planned & made available to meet the planned sample development activities at Sample room in coordination with concerned Design & Process Engineer

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

with 5-7 years experience

Diploma with 7-9 years experience

What Will Put You Ahead

1.

Awareness on QMS/EMS practices as per IATF 16949 / ISO 14001

2.Good understanding of APQP & PPAP process and review of customer specifications

3.Hands on experience in measurement system including GD&T measurement.

4.Understanding and Interpretation of engineering drawing

5.

Knowledge of Product functional Testing (Mechanical & Electrical)

6.

Understanding of MSA, 8D problem solving, SPC and other Quality tools.

7.

Good analytical and reasoning skills
