Manager/Senior Manager Commercial Strategy and Analytics

GP's Retail Consumer Business is seeking a Manager / Sr.

Manager, Commercial Strategy & Analytics to support our Bath Tissue, Paper Towel and Napkin brands, which include Angel Soft, Brawny, Quilted Northern, Sparkle, and Vanity Fair.

This person will be a critical partner in helping the business meet its financial goals while achieving its vision of having the #1 or #2 brand in each segment that it competes.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the category teams to develop data-driven insights that accelerate price realization, help achieve various brand commercial objectives, and create long-term value.

This person will also focus on elements of product and portfolio design that help drive cost efficiencies and/or increase the value of our products and brands with consumers and customers.

Lastly, this person will be responsible for maintaining foundational knowledge about competitive aspects of our categories including pricing, supply and demand, capacity utilization, and competitor profitability.

Strong vision, communication and leadership will be required to work across multiple stakeholders and advance a data-driven learning culture.

The role will report to the Director of Commercial Strategy & Analytics.

What You Will Do:



* Build and share knowledge around key category, channel, and competitive trends and their implications to brand strategy.


* Combine knowledge of supply system constraints, competitor positions, and key drivers of profitability to proactively identify price, product, and portfolio optimization opportunities to the category teams.


* Utilize tools, frameworks, and analyses (predictive and descriptive) to understand price landscape and develop specific price recommendations across pack-sizes and channels.


* Identify growth opportunities by applying knowledge of market supply and demand, pricing, and cost to serve.


* Work with cross-functional teams in Analytics, Category, Operations, Marketing and Sales to understand implications of recommendations and execution alternatives.


* Maintain and improve upon pricing, utilization , and profitability reports, while helping to distill key insights from market trends that will be presented to senior GP leadership.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)



* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Statistics, Economics


* Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in data analytics or commercial strategy with a proven track record of driving actionable insights from complex data sets.


* Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUPs, PivotTables) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI )


* Experience managing and delivering multiple analytical projects concurrently, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
