Administrative Liaison
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration preferred.
* 1 year of experience with research-related activities and administrative duties and functions.

* Software: Word WordPerfect Lotus Excel Other (specify):
* Ability to make sound decisions by applying policies and procedures using available resources.
* Ability to foster a cooperative and collaborative work environment.
* Advanced analytical, evaluative and objective critical thinking skills.
* Demonstrated leadership skills in the development and implementation of complex administrative programs.
* Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisor, co-workers, granting agencies, and community members.
* Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with a variety of constituents.
* Ability to work independently on most of the administrative duties with limited supervision is required.
* Must have the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
• Administrative project coordinator for the Community Engagement and Research Core of the CTSI and Community Outreach and Education Core 25%
• Administrative assistant duties
• Coordinate research project activities and attend meetings of the different research activities.
• Coordinate meetings for investigators and provide general support for these meetings
• Assistance with financial management and grant and contract management
• Assist in preparation of announcements, presentations, administrative records and reports
• Maintain contact lists of speakers, caterers, Medical Center and community contacts
• Provide general support for day-to day office and program activities, including filing, answering phones, etc.
• Liaison with community members and outside agencies
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate well with internal and external research and professional staff
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent skill with excel, word and power point
• Ability to make detailed observations.
