Your Job

Molex, located in Monee, IL, is looking to bring on board a Manufacturing Engineer.

As part of this role, you will take charge of developing, enhancing, and implementing manufacturing processes and systems, aiming to boost production efficiency and elevate the quality of current products.

Additionally, you will actively contribute to projects and the rollout of new products.

The ideal candidate has a solid grasp of manufacturing processes, a background in process improvement, and the capability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams.

What You Will Do


* Develop, improve, and implement manufacturing processes to improve quality, reduce costs, streamline process and drive safety and performance production efficiency and quality.


* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process improvements.


* Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process maps.


* Work with production teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and provide technical support.


* Develop and implement training programs for production teams to ensure consistency and quality in manufacturing processes.


* Monitor and analyze production data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions.


* Participate in new product development projects to ensure manufacturing processes are designed for high-quality and efficient production.


* Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field


* Three (3) or more years of manufacturing experience


* Experience with process improvement and lean manufacturing methodologies

What Will Put You Ahead


* Experience with manufacturing processes and systems related to heavy gauge metal stamping, forming, and CNC machining


* Experience designing/implementing automated production processes
