Technical Product Owner - CAR-T Manufacturing Systems

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting a Technical Product Owner to support technology functions across CAR-T manufacturing site located at Raritan, NJ.

The Supply Chain Advanced Therapies MAKE Technology team within the JJT Global Supply Chain organization has responsibility for delivery of an IT product portfolio that supports a variety of key manufacturing platforms and provides outstanding customer experience across multiple channels within J&J Innovative Medicine.

Working within an impactful team (HPT) environment, this role will have main responsibility for supporting/advancing J&J systems capability related to Supply Chain CAR-T Manufacturing operational and project activities.

This position will be based in Raritan, New Jersey.

Travel will occasionally be required.

This successful candidate will collaborate as part of the team under the Site IT Leader for CAR-T manufacturing operations.

About our program: CAR-T (chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy) is an innovative approach to target destruction of cancer cells, which works by harnessing the power of a patient's own immune system.

The therapy is created from the patients' own T cells and are engineered to eliminate cancer cells expressing a specific antigen.

Technical Product Owner is a:


* Technical resource with scope of knowledge including Manufacturing technologies, integration tools, embedded analytics, visualization and reporting tools.


* Investment manager: Defines priorities for business and associated technology investments, Accountable for all financials including CAPEX, OPEX, Business value realization, resource planning, and leads a portfolio of investments.


* Program and Service Manager: Tracks progress of development in the context of the larger program.

Reports back to the business on status on the delivery of features, functionality, and applications; has a combination of global and regional accountability.

Key Responsibilities:


* Shape the squad vision / roadmap and steer the squad in delivering products / platforms features / work oriented around business impact.


* Shape and prioritize systems backlog, applying business expertise and understanding of customer needs, translate requirements into user requirements & acceptance criteria.


* Balance business value with technical feasibility while prioritizing requirements and features, optimizing cost, and improving delivery efficiency.


* Support Site IT Leaders with local and global IT projects/initiatives and any other areas that require IT support and coordination including ALM/TLM, Cybersecurity, Audit, Asset Management, Local Change Control, ITSM, Quad Meeting, etc.

in collaboration with Business, ISRM and TS/MLL team.


* Act as the "voice of the customer" within the squad to ensure the team "builds the right thing."
