EHS Specialist

KES Changshu is seeking an EHS Specialist to formulate, revise EHS procedures to meet the requirements of relevant laws and regulations

What You Will Do

- Identify applicable regulatory requirements regularly, and assist to formulate, revise EHS procedures to meet the requirements of relevant laws and regulations.

- Be responsible for employee/contractor EHS training and improve safety awareness of employees and contractors.

- Coordinate occupational health check.

- Be responsible for security of the factory.

Manage the security guards to ensure they follow the requirements of the factory.

- Be responsible for filling in and submitting routine EHS information to government.

- Participate in EHS sponsored initiatives, conduct workplace inspections and follow-up the corrective actions.

Drive continuous improvement.

- Work closely with other departments to conduct job safety analysis to improve safety performance.

- P articipate in incident investigation and root cause analysis, follow-up the corrective actions.
- Works closely with leaders to organize EHS emergency drill.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

- Bachelor's Degree in an Environmental, Health & Safety or engineering program.

- 1-3 years of experience in EHS role.

- Familiar with China EHS laws and regulations.

Good understanding and implementation of ISO 14001 and / or ISO 45001.
