RN - Ambulatory Procedure Center - GI/Bronchoscopy Procedures

90% FTE, day/evening shift, Monday - Friday, rotating start times between 6:30am-9:00am.Weeknight call once a week, weekend call once every 4-6 weeks.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Procedure Registered Nurse (RN) in the Ambulatory Procedure Center (APC) to:


* Work in the Ambulatory Procedure Center in the pre/post and procedural areas.

Care for patients needing EUS, ERCP, Endoscopies and Bronchoscopies.


* Communicate procedural room activities to facilitate efficiency in the procedural case progression and turnover between cases.


* Implement safe, competent, and efficient patient and family care within policies, procedures, and standards of care plan to the perioperative patient's level of complexity.


* High acuity unit preferring experience in the ICU, 3+ years of IMC experience and or Pre/Post/PACU experience.


* Meet on call requirements, one weeknight/week and one weekend every 4-6 weeks.

Education :

Minimum - Associates Degree - Nursing (ADN).

Preferred - Bachelor of Science - Nursing Degree (BSN).

Work Experience :

Minimum - Six (6) months of RN experience.

Preferred - Experience working pre/post operatively with varied surgical patient populations.

Emergency nursing, critical care, medical/surgical, or ambulatory surgery center experience.

Moderate sedation and cardiac monitoring experience.

One (1) year or more of RN experience

Licenses and Certifications :

Minimum - Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations.

Basic Life Support/CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Preferred - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
