Clinical Operations Assistant, Ambulatory Procedure Center and Gastrointestinal

Work Schedule :

100% FTE, day shift.

Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Clinical Operations Assistant to:


* Maintain the daily flow of the unit, collaborate with the nursing staff, technologists, physicians and anesthesiology as appropriate.


* Answer multi-line telephone and assist callers while utilizing effective and respectful communication with patients, families, and health care teams.


* Schedule complex surgical procedures and non-surgical procedures that require sedation or general anesthesia using multiple systems/applications such as Cadence, Optime, Beacon, Healthlink.


* Provide backup clerical support during absences or periods of high workloads within the department.

Education :

Minimum - High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred - Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field.

Work Experience :

Minimum - One year of experience in an administrative support role.

Preferred - Three years of experience in an administrative support function.

Previous experience in a health care setting.
