RN - Charge Nurse/Care Team Leader - Inpatient - Med & Surg 4th Floor

Work Schedule :

90% FTE, evening/night shift rotation, weekend rotation, and holiday rotation.

We offer a competitive starting pay, relevant work experience will be considered, this position also includes a shift/weekend differential.

We are seeking a Care Team Leader (CTL) / Charge Nurse:

* Serve as a front-line leader in a collaborative environment that is surrounded by state-of-the-art technology, evidence-based practice and a strong interdisciplinary team on this 28-bed inpatient medical surgical unit.


* Enhance your leadership skills through serving as a mentor for nurses to advance their knowledge and skills, involvement in monitoring of nursing quality metrics, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.


* Collaborate with management for unit hiring and patient experience rounding.


* Optimize patient and staff outcomes through resource utilization and distribution of patient care assignments.

Education :

Minimum - ADN

Preferred - Baccalaureate degree in nursing

Work Experience :

Minimum: Two (2) years' experience in an inpatient unit.

At least two (2) years of combined work experience and leadership experience may be considered in lieu of two (2) years' experience in an inpatient unit.

Preferred: Three (3) years' experience in an acute care inpatient unit Relevant RN experience with department-specific patient population

Licenses and Certifications :

Minimum - Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin.

CPR certification.

ACLS certification

Preferred - National certification in relevant specialty
