Sterile Processing Supervisor

Work Schedule :

This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position.

Scheduled hours are 3:00pm - 11:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Sterile Processing Supervisor to:


* Oversee the entire range of reprocessing services at UW Health East Madison Hospital.


* Ensure that standards of operation are in compliance with the standards set by all regulatory agencies.


* Be responsible for a significant budget as well as assist in the ongoing hiring, training, and supervising of staff.


* Possess a wide range of knowledge of ever-changing instrumentation, equipment, and techniques.


* Provide instruction on new products, procedures, and equipment to ensure the best possible support for our customers and the highest possible care for our patients.


* Have basic understanding of Microsoft Office and other computer programs.


* Have basic knowledge of Tracking Systems and OR Scheduling Systems.

Education :

Minimum - High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred - Bachelor's Degree

Work Experience :

Minimum -


* Two years of experience in reprocessing


* Six months of progressively responsible lead or supervisory experience

Preferred - One year of progressively responsible lead or supervisory experience

Licenses and Certifications :

Minimum - Certification by HSPA as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certification by CBSPD as a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician

Preferred - HSPA Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) Certification or Certified Supervisor from CBSPD
