Laborer - Water & Sewer - Non-potable - Seasonal

Salary Range: $18.40 - $23.00 per hour

Job Summary:

The City of Greeley is seeking one seasonal employee to join Greeley’s Non-Potable Team and become a vital part of maintaining 40 pump stations while upholding our high standards for curb appeal and supporting indoor and outdoor non-Potable assessments.

As a cornerstone of our city's commitment to non-Potable, this role offers an opportunity to contribute to Greeley's ongoing efforts to keep and maintain the high standards of the non-Potable system.  This position will report to the Raw water operations supervisor and assignments will be directed by the Raw Water crew supervisor for the duration of the assignments.

The non-Potable water seasonal position involves diverse responsibilities, including the maintenance and management of the 40 pump station sites, ditches, and ponds, as well as assisting with other duties as assigned to them.

Primary duties encompass ensuring the sites remain in good condition throughout the irrigation season, and actively participating in hands-on tasks such as station reads, weeding, trash removal, and executing special construction projects.

Primary water assessment duties involve working directly with irrigation systems, identifying leaks, recording data measurements, and representing Greeley with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Regardless of weather conditions, there will always be tasks to tackle, rain or shine.

The typical schedule for this position is from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, five days a week, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend and evening shifts as required by State and Federal regulations.

This is an ongoing recruitment, and the posting may close at any time.

Join us in making a difference in water conservation and enhancing the beauty of Greeley's landscape.
