Director Technology Delivery

The Director of Technology Delivery is a critical role within Technology that works with our business partners to ensure successful Technology project delivery, along with identifying the required business processes and technology changes.

Anticipates industry insights and direction for consistent delivery of business process changes for technology implementations to ensure business readiness.

Ability to identify, engage, and facilitate effective collaboration across all relevant stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure overall project success.

Position Responsibilities


* Work with key stakeholders to identify, develop, implement, and maintain business processes and systems to align with business goals and objectives


* Lead project teams through all core project phases, including project setup, requirements gathering, design, development, testing and deployment


* Facilitate workshops, provide status updates, and lead meetings across the executive levels of client organizations


* Proactively identify risks and issues, and provide mitigation strategies


* Contribute to internal growth initiatives including mentorship, recruitment, strategy and/or methodology enhancement

Desired Skills & Experiences


* Education: Bachelor's Degree


* Years of Experience: Retail 10 + years


* 5+ years navigating large corporate technology projects


* 10+ years' in project management, business analysis and/or product management


* Excellent oral and written communication skills - demonstrated ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences including those at the senior leadership levels


* Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams and business partners


* Strong experience collaborating with C-Level, SVP, EVP, VP and Director level associates


* Experience leading the delivery of technology projects throughout the full product lifecycle


* Proven track record of building high-performance teams


* Strong decision-making and prioritization skills


* Strong leadership skills and ability to influence


* Strong organization and project management skills


* Exceptional critical thinking skills; ability to decompose complex problems, prioritize issues, and implement sensible solutions


* Ability to go high and low - make high level strategic proposals and also do individual work and in-depth analysis


* Previous large scale POS implementation experience preferred
