Facilities Internship

Crane Currency has an immediate opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience in our Power Plant as a Facilities Intern for 2^nd Class Fireman based out of our Dalton, MA location.

How you will make an impact:

Your internship program is designed to give you the chance to make a true impact on our business.

You will be working on and learning the following:


* Operate high pressure boiler, gaining hands-on experience with emergency shutdown procedures.


* Learn how to deal with boiler upsets and understand auxiliary equipment.


* Perform PMs (preventative maintenance) on all mechanical components.

 

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

You must currently be enrolled in a degree program with an accredited school to be eligible for consideration.

Required:


* 2^nd Class Fireman’s License highly preferred or completed courses in relation to obtaining a license.


* Excellent oral and written communication


* Good technical and mechanical aptitude


* Eagerness to learn.


* Ability to follow standard work instructions.
